Nightfall custom-fit window shades are a must-have for van campers or anyone else who likes hanging out in their van without everyone wondering who's home. Our shades block almost all outside light, and prevent interior light from escaping - perfect for stealth camping, that secret spot just off the beaten path, or just chilling at the beach.

CRL and other popular bolt-in aftermarket windows use aluminum frames that aren't magnetic. We solve this issue with our MagPlate system. These small stainless/magnetic plates fasten under the window's mounting ring screws – see photos above – allowing use of our magnetic window shades. In order for the MagPlate system to work, the interior face and screw heads of the window's mounting ring must be exposed.

For Promaster vans we also offer shades for AMA glue-in windows. These shades come with blank MagPlates and VHB tape. For AMA windows (which have no assembly screws), the MagPlates must be fastened to the window's plastic trim using the VHB tape; the shade can then magnetically attach.

The window shades are quick to use - their folding yet firm structure, paired with powerful neodymium magnets, allow for easy install and removal.

Our fan covers use the same material and insulation as our window shades, and fit standard fans from MaxxAir and Fantastic Fan. Fan controls should be recessed, not protruding from the face of the fan, for proper installation. Magnetic strips included for easy installation inside your fan's trim ring, making for a completely invisible magnetic system.

All shades are insulated with a dense and reflective US-made insulation that prevents large amounts of radiation from passing through, keeping your vehicle warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. The insulation works well with both exterior fabric colors, but choose white if you'd like the coolest, most reflective shades. Choose black if you'd like the stealthiest, most discreet shades.

All color options are high-quality synthetic fabric and will not absorb condensation or easily mold like natural fibers. A slip bag is included with larger shades for easy storage when you're on the road.

All our shades have color-coded tabs: Red for right, black for left (when facing forward in the van).

To use your window shades:

1) Install the MagPlates around your aftermarket window's mounting ring, according to the magnet placement in the shade, by slightly loosening mounting ring screws until you can slide the MagPlate under the head of the screw, then tighten. You can use either the center or side slot on the MagPlate to accommodate different needed placements. (See photos above.) FOR AMA WINDOWS ONLY: Use the included VHB tape to fasten the MagPlates to the window's outer plastic trim, according to the magnet placement in the shade.

2) Unfold the shade and place the black/white side out.

3) Apply the shade to the window. The magnets will click into place. Adjust if necessary.

To use your fan cover:

1) Use 6” of included VHB tape to install each black metal strip around the INSIDE of your fan's trim. To access the inside of the fan trim, loosen the screws holding it to the ceiling just enough to install the metal strips. Once installed, tighten the screws for a completely invisible magnetic system.

2) Apply the fan cover to the fan - the magnets will click into place. Adjust if necessary.
